👋 Welcome to Your November Newsletter!

We are absolutely thrilled to welcome you to the second edition of the relaunched BAHA newsletter! 📰
The enthusiasm and positive feedback we received following our inaugural issue were truly inspiring. It confirmed that this newsletter is precisely what our community needed, a central hub for news, deep insights, and connection across the healing arts.
In this November issue, we continue to build on that vision. You’ll find another powerful Beacon of Influence spotlighting the remarkable scientific validation work of Dr Bill Bengston, along with an essential article on Self-Care for the Practitioner, because a nourished healer is an effective one!
We've got important updates on new BAHA initiatives and, as always, an invitation for you to get involved.
Thank you for being part of this exciting new chapter. We look forward to connecting with you and promoting the incredible work you do!

The Healer's Well-being: Self-Care for Practitioners
Self-Care for Practitioners...

As healers, our calling is to offer comfort, restore balance, and facilitate transformation in others. We pour our energy, compassion, and presence into every session, every client, and every connection. This profound giving, while deeply rewarding, can also be incredibly demanding, often leading to energetic depletion or even burnout if not managed consciously.
At BAHA, we believe that a truly effective healer is a well-nourished one. Prioritising your own well-being isn't a luxury; it's a professional imperative. Just as you guide others to replenish their energy, you must dedicate time and intention to maintaining your own. Here are some essential self-care techniques and strategies for every practitioner:
1. Establish Energetic Boundaries: Before, during, and after sessions, consciously set clear energetic boundaries. This could be as simple as visualising a protective light shield around you or a quick intention to only absorb what serves you and release what does not. Learn to distinguish your energy from your client's.
Connecting Communities: Announcing Our New "Find a Therapist" Map!
We are thrilled to announce an exciting new feature coming soon to the BAHA website: a comprehensive "Find a Therapist" interactive map!
At BAHA, we regularly receive requests from individuals across the country seeking qualified and trustworthy healers and complementary therapists in their local area. This new map will directly address that need, serving as an invaluable resource for the public to easily locate BAHA-accredited practitioners.

The Visionaries of Healing
This section will introduce you to individuals who are not only masters of their craft but also pioneers who are actively shaping the future of spiritual and energy healing. Their work extends beyond the treatment room, influencing public perception and bridging the gap between ancient wisdom and modern understanding. We'll explore their journeys, their key insights, and how their contributions are helping to build a more holistic world.
Beacon of Influence: Dr William Bengston and the Power of Unconventional Healing
In our ongoing quest to highlight the Visionaries of Healing, those who fearlessly bridge the gap between intuition and empirical evidence, we are thrilled to feature Dr William Bengston. A Professor of Sociology at St. Joseph's College in New York, Dr Bengston is not only a respected academic but also a pioneer in the scientific study of energy healing, challenging conventional medical paradigms with compelling and reproducible research.
